Gabriela Massuh is a writer, philologist, translator, and editor. She headed the cultural department at the Goethe-Institut in Buenos Aires from 1983 to 2010 and founded the Mardulce publishing house in 2011. She has written numerous novels and other works, including a trilogy of novels about social and ecological crises in Argentina: La intemperie (2008/2016), Desmonte (2015), and Deguello (2019). She lives in Buenos Aires.
